Wicklow Town AFC is one of the most successful in the history of the Wicklow District Football League, having won numerous Premier Division and Wicklow Cup titles down the years. Town play their home games at Finlay Park on the Station Road in Wicklow Town, just next door to their neighbours Wicklow Rovers. The club also has a great history at Schoolboy level, having organised Street League competitions in the past, as well as being affiliated to the annual Wicklow Cancer Support Easter Soccer Blitz, organised by former long time committee member, Tony ‘Butch’ Doran.
